Thanks Sybil for asking but I have had a very busy week as my brother-in law passed away very suddenly last Wednesday. I will be away next week so will blog when I get my breath back

I well know what it is like, My darling God daughter died 18 months ago only 47 and I am still trying to get my head round it...was a bad day yesterday as it was Mothering sunday and no card from her... I am a retired teacher who still does a little teaching. I have been a Sunday School teacher but have also retired from that. I have a husband that I look after and a 16 month old West Highland terrier called Mac who keeps me busy taking him for walks. I am very interested in the lives of other people who blog. I live on the island of Lewis. Anyone from the U.K. who reads this will see the main town in Lewis, Stornoway, on the B.B.C weather map and I live 3 miles south of there. Many of us in the island are bi-lingual, we speak Gaelic and English
